Hugga Plant began as a simple curiosity—an impulse purchase of my first houseplant. Little did I know, that small moment would spark a deep passion for greenery and an appreciation for the delicate art of plant care. As I learned about their unique needs - how each plant thrived with just the right amount of light, water, and attention - I became addicted.

Over time, my collection grew, and so did my knowledge. I found immense joy in nurturing plants, watching them flourish, and sharing that joy with others. This passion led me to start Hugga Plant - a space where plant lovers can discover both the beauty and the tranquility that houseplants bring.
What started as a personal love for plants has now become a family affair. My children have embraced the joy of plant care alongside me, helping with everything from watering to packaging orders with care. Seeing their excitement and curiosity grow has made this journey even more special.

Meaning

The name Hugga is inspired by the Danish concept of Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”), which embraces warmth, coziness, and the simple pleasures in life. To me, plants embody this feeling perfectly. They create a peaceful sanctuary, bringing a sense of calm and comfort to any space.​
